HEALTH AND SAFETY

At GECON we believe that Health and Safety is everyones duty and responsibility from the director to the youngest operator on site.

To that end we have the following procedures in place:

All workforce have CPCS, CSCS, NVQ supervisors/managers certs and directors 1 day Health and Safetly course. Specialist training is also provided when required.
At site inductions RAMS are studied and understood - not just signed
Site audits are carried out monthly by our Health and Safety advisor. Any problems which arise are actioned immediately .
The Director visits each site at least once a week.
Our Health and Safety and Enviromental policies are updated annually.
Weekly toolbox talks on Health and Safety and enviroment
A young persons risk assesment is carried out before they start. They are placed alongside an experienced worker who keeps a watchful eye over them, along with the site manager.
